Michael trained at RADA.
Recent work includes "Taboo" with Boy George,"Wonderful Town" with Sir Mark Elder and the Hallé, "The Snow Queen" at the Kingston Rose, "Lend Me A Tenor" in the West End, "Tis Pity She's A Whore" at the West Yorkshire Playhouse, "A Christmas Carol" in the West End and "Oklahoma" at Chichester.
He has worked at the RSC in 7 shows including "The Canterbury Tales" as Chaucer and "Eastward Ho!" as Sir Petronel Flash both of which transferred to the West End. He has worked often with Shared Experience with shows like "The Mill On The Floss" and "Jane "Eyre". Other theatre includes "A Midsummer Nights dream" at the Globe, "Timon of Athens" at the Globe, "Rough Crossings" at the Lyric Hammersmth, directed by Rupert Goold , "The Island Princess" directed by Greg Doran, "The Malcontent" directed by Dominic Cook, "Imagine This" directed by Tim Sheader and "Comedy of Errors" directed by Jonathan Munby.
Recent TV includes "Endeavour" the new Inspector Morse series for ITV, "The Dom Joly Show" and "A Prince Among Men" and Eastenders for the BBC, "Then" for Channel 4.
Film includes "The Crying Game" and "A Muppet Christmas Carol". Michael plays cricket for his team IRCC which he co-founded 20 years ago.
