Jonathan’s theatre appearances include Hangover Square at The Finborough, Peter Pan at the National Theatre, Map of the Heart at Salisbury Playhouse, The Hobbit at The Queen’s Theatre in London’s West End, Volpone and The Horror, The Horror both at Wilton’s Music Hall, The Invisible Man at Oldham Coliseum,  Frogs at Nottingham Playhouse, Alphabetical Order and The Handmaid’s Tale both at Basingstoke Haymarket and the original production of The 39 Steps for North Country Theatre. 

He has just completed filming on The Vikings for BBC and worldwide broadcast in 2013, and was also seen on TV earlier this year in The Minor Character by Will Self for Sky Arts. Jonathan is also Artistic Director of European Arts Company for whom he has directed UK tours of Pinter’s The Dumb Waiter and The Lover, Chekhov’s Shorts, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde and the Pickwick Papers, and European tours of Animal Farm, Lady Windermere’s Fan, Look Back in Anger, The Picture of Dorian Gray and The 39 Steps.
